I played my second show of the week that Saturday in Ferndale, a city about 20 minutes north of Detroit. Local record store Hybrid Moments sadly will be closing its doors soon, so I was asked to play its final show. It was a cool show. Seemed like people came out to have a good time and did my best job to help make that happen. If good times were had then I’m doing okay at my job. Daps to the gawd Kwesi of the Anonymous, for asking me to kicks some raps for the fine people of Ferndale.

To all the new friends I’ve made this week, you are appreciated. To know that I’m truly connecting with people through this rap stuff means a lot. Knowing this, I promise to make the best tunes I can, and put on the best shows I can.
I pinky swear.

Hilariously Absurd and Amazing. My friend made a comment saying it was Stellaesque (Michael Ian Black, David Wain and Michael Showalter’s comedy group that a show on comedy central a while back). I think he nailed it on that observation. It does remind me a lot of that show, but its even different from that. its really unlike anything Ive ever seen. Needless to say, I absolutely loved this. Apparently Comedy Central does too, as they have picked up the project. My only hope is if comedy central makes this happen, the show doesn’t share the same fate as Stella.

It’s about nine am on a November 2 morning, and I am about two hours into recovery. Last night around midnight I decided to grab a couple of sliders. For those that don’t know what sliders are, they’re little burgers; just like ones you might see at White Castle or Krystal’s. To get my fix for these lil’ buggers there’s spot conveniently located within walking distance from my crib, a spot called TelWay. Great coffee by the way, I’m a fan of the double, double .But I digress, because were talking about burgers here, not coffee. The convenience of location coupled with an itch for a lil late night snack has proven to be a recipe for a frowning stomach. Were gonna get you some ginger ale buddy you just hang in there. So, what do we now? Well I been toying with the idea of going back veg. for a while now (a sidebar I was vegetarian for about a year and half, then I moved to the d which put the kybosh on that because basically the hood took me under)Seeing as how my stomach is no longer built for Cuban Linx, I think it might be time now, for a re up on the whole vegetarian thing. The real question though is:Am I ready to give up Lafayette Coney Island
