Hilariously Absurd and Amazing. My friend made a comment saying it was Stellaesque (Michael Ian Black, David Wain and Michael Showalter’s comedy group that a show on comedy central a while back). I think he nailed it on that observation. It does remind me a lot of that show, but its even different from that. its really unlike anything Ive ever seen. Needless to say, I absolutely loved this. Apparently Comedy Central does too, as they have picked up the project. My only hope is if comedy central makes this happen, the show doesn’t share the same fate as Stella.

Rapper friend, Open Mike Eagle recently had the opportunity to perform along side the gawds Matt Besser and Matt Walsh at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre as apart of ASSSSCAT. ASSSSCAT is a weekly event held at UCB theatre where a monologist shares his thoughts based on an audiences suggestion. The improvisers then take the monologue and create scenes inspired by it. In this case, the improvisers created scenes based around OME’s raps. My two favoritest things, comedy and rap rap,tastefully done together. High Five Mike…
