Needless to say, your support is greatly appreciated.

This year has seen a lot of dreams become reality, a lot of goals met and admittedly some that were not. A lot of hard work has taken place, but with that also came the realization that there is so much more to work to be done. With all the highs and major lows this year has offered, I can’t help but to be anything but thankful for every second of it. I’m grateful for the friends that have been there for me, supported me and have loved me. I’m grateful for my family who continues to do the same and accept such a work in progress that is me.
I thank YOU as well, for supporting this music thing, reading my thoughts on this here site and saying wassup to me on the Tweets, the Facebook etc.To know I have supporters/fans out there is very humbling and something I don’t take for granted. I appreciate all of you. So with that being said, I need a favor from you: starting tomorrow take a moment in each of our days to reflect on something in our lives that we are truly thankful for. I will do the same
From elephants in the room to the dinosaur at the party, Midcoast Mansion productions have been some funniest and feel good times I’ve had in while. Continuing that tradition is their latest video Plastic Cups. Shot outs to Josef Petrous on directorial tip. I am now christening you the Michael Bay of house party videos. Everybody have a good time.
I don’t want to go and new ay gee up the place, but I’d recommend checking this out.
The ideas expressed here feel very real to me, especially at this current time in life(more on that later).
Hilariously Absurd and Amazing. My friend made a comment saying it was Stellaesque (Michael Ian Black, David Wain and Michael Showalter’s comedy group that a show on comedy central a while back). I think he nailed it on that observation. It does remind me a lot of that show, but its even different from that. its really unlike anything Ive ever seen. Needless to say, I absolutely loved this. Apparently Comedy Central does too, as they have picked up the project. My only hope is if comedy central makes this happen, the show doesn’t share the same fate as Stella.
A big shout out to my mans and nem Aaron Johnstone for putting me up on this.
At my job, I realized something very recently. That it’s quite possible that I have let myself go quite a bit. How might a job tell you so much about yourself? Well, I am a practitioner of the custodial arts at a local Kohl’s and the mirrors in fitting rooms were sure to let me know. So how do I fix this problem?
First, I should probably take advantage of gym membership I paid for; yeah, that would be a great start. “But Charles, you’re so busy when you will have time to do it?” That’s been my excuse admittedly, and if I am being completely honest with myself, I haven’t been as busy I will be starting this week. On my plate are the following, taking my final semester at this community college, being a rapper and working two jobs. So how do I make everything “workout” so to speak?
The easy answer is making time for the things that are important. Time management hasn’t been a strong point for me in the past, but I acknowledge that as a flaw and something that needs to change. I want change, mentally spiritually and physically. It’s going to be a really busy time for me, but this a transitional period with the potential for major personal growth. I humbly ask that you guys keep me encouraged. Wish me luck!!!
Any advice or insight you want to share with me on this feel free to leave a comment or to shoot me an email at charles@selfsays.com
